Yep that's right we have a dog named Dora. I think I suggested about 50 other names and they all got vetoed by someone so Rylie named the dog. She arrived yesterday morning from next door and she hasn't had much time to herself, she has 3 fans thats for sure.

Headed for the Zoo
Last Monday was a holiday so we decided to take the kids to the zoo. We haven't been to the Brevard zoo in a while so we picked up Nana and headed over there. Christopher could have sat at this monkey cage all day...I couldn't get a good picture of the monkey but you get the point
Somewhere in my crazy computer world I have a picture of Gracie and Rylie in this kangaroo a when they were just little so thought I would include Christopher
Going on a train ride...this used to be free and now its up to $3 per person...think we will skip it next time
Rylie was the brave one who wanted to feed the birds...They thought it was pretty funny when a bird landed on a girls head next to them.
We've been lucky the last two times and the giraffes have been up looking for food. There was a lot of people so it was kind of hard to get a pictureIt was an awesome day for the zoo and I think even Christopher liked it.
I have been a little down and out with the flu so I am hoping to catch up soon :)

Girls Day Out
Last weekend we went on a "Girls Day Out" to see High School Musical at the Science Center. The science center has teamed up with the Grammercy Theater and they are going to be having lots of Family geared shows there. Its a cute theater very small so don't spend any extra money for better seats. The show was cute, pretty impressive because everyone in the show was from the Orlando area. A lot of UCF students and several High School Students. The girls loved it of course except they still don't get why some of the people looked a little different.
Gracie's favorite is the main character Gabriela but she got shy when we finally got to her.
Rylie loves Sharpay and she was so excited to take a picture with her she wouldn't let go.
It was a fun afternoon for us Abbuhl girls.

Mail Call
The girls absolutely love getting mail. They go with me almost every day to the mailbox to see if there is any for them. Usually I give them the junk mail so they were excited when Aunt Mag sent them a special envelope last week. Gracie got a High School Musical magazine with posters and Rylie got a ballerina sticker book. Gracie was all into hanging up the posters...it was kind of funny. Rylie had gotten a CARS poster in her box of Valentines so she decided to hang that up~notice the sticker from her book on her shirt.
Like father like daughter.......
They love their Mommy!

We all scream for Ice Cream
The other day while playing in the front yard we spotted the ice cream truck. I decided why not? Gracie ran in to get her dollars that she got in one of her valentines cards. We waited, and waited and waited. They were so excited but the truck wasn't coming back. So I decided to pack them up and head out to the soft serve ice cream place we always drive by and I tell them "one day we will go there". They had a special kids cone for 79cents so it worked out great! Except....first I ordered vanilla not sure why but they had asked for chocolate so I inhaled 2 kids vanilla cones. Then as soon as we sat down Gracie dropped hers. Then Rylie's started melting and she didn't like that at all so we had to throw it out. So that left my precious vanilla cone dipped in chocolate shell. I had to share with 3 kids now! Lesson learned....get ice cream in a cup next time. Some day I will get an ice cream cone to myself. It really was fun.
Happy Valentines Day!
We've been a little under the weather over here with some strep throat but I think we have all recovered. The girls were all into Valentine's Day this year...Mommy got them a heart filled with chocolate and Daddy bought them flowers. I also planned the party for Rylie's class...it was fun. I didn't get to take many pictures because Christopher was with me but here's one of her class
Christopher loved being with the kids
You should see the loot the kids get these days. We have a giant bowl full of candy. I think I was one of the only ones who sent in the "traditional valentines" and thats all. Most of them had little goody bags or something. But I did stay up late making lots of heart shaped cupcakes.
I love this shirt :)
Hope you all had a good Valentines Day too!

The tradition continues..........
We have gone to Chef Mickey's character breakfast for all of the kids around their first birthday. I realized quickly that time was running out to take Christopher because soon spring break will be here and the heat and crowds will be insane so I called and we luckily got in very fast. The weather was awesome and there was hardly anyone there except a bunch of New Orleans people celebrating Fat Tuesday and getting away from their crazy city.
It was hard to get good pics from where I was sitting but here's a couple
Thanks to Uncle Shawn we were able to enjoy the parks too! We went to MGM to get our tickets and Rylie requested to get her picture taken with "CARS" She also loved taking her own pictures. Christopher and Daddy watched from afar.
After that we headed to the Magic Kingdom. Christopher got his first haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop. Penny did a great job and he got a certificate and special 1st haircut mouse ears. We had to wait a while because all the New Orleanians were getting their hair painted and other things but it was worth it. Here's a before and after shot.
Thats it for us~I put the camera away after this so I could enjoy it more. Have fun and be back soon!
