We had a great Easter. I taught Sunday School and then went to church and then we headed to Aunt Mag's.
Looking for Eggs...

Easter Eggs Everywhere

We had our annual Easter Egg Hunt with our playgroup. It is our 4th one. It is so crazy how much they have grown. Many have moved away but some more have been born.
Here we are in 2006
I love this face :)

More parties

Well it was time for another party at school....this time for Easter. Rylie would only hunt for yellow eggs and after she realized she had only 4 and her friends had lots more she changed her mind.
Here they are showing off their adorable easter bonnets/hats and eggs.
I snuck off to Gracie's class party to see what was happening.
Here's those fancy eggs I was talking about a few days ago.
I think we only have the end of the year party left...I am partied out :)

Having fun

Having some fun outdoors...everytime I take Dora out Christopher makes a mad dash for the door so we have been outside ALOT!

Thanks for all the Easter cards and stickers...the girls loved them. They even got some dollars for their piggy banks :)

It's funny how people always buy loud musical toys for kids....and of course the kids love them

The girls got some new dresses that came with matching doll dresses. They LOVE these! Of course we had to have pink and yellow.

Bring Daddy to Dance

They had the annual bring your Dad to dance day and since the girls have class at the same time Grandpa Abbuhl came along too. They were both great sports...

Dora

Dora is fitting right in at our house. She goes for frequent stroller rides, she gets carried ALOT, and she is a good vacuum for messy eaters. Christopher has gotten good at saying her name.

Decorate an Easter Egg

Gracie came home from school with an Egg to decorate~of course I forgot about it until the night before it was due. I had to make up a project for Rylie and of course she came home with one today. Figures! It was fun anyway. It's kind of neat to see how different they are when they come back to school.

Break time

We took a little break on the housework. Thanks to Nana we dropped the kids off and headed to one of our faves~Grills in Port Canaveral. It was a perfect night. I was planning to get a picture of us out by the water but never did because our table came faster than I anticipated.

Why does the car always do this to kids?

Christopher loves the bath. As soon as I say the word he starts trying to rip off his clothes and heads in there.

I want my own card

Last time we were at the library I decided to let the girls get their very own library cards. They thought this was so cool. Then the librarian told them they could check out 4 books/movies for the next two weeks and then their cards become active and then they will be able to check out up to 100 items! Why would she tell them this? I can just see me having to pull up the van to load our books in. I think I will set our family limit to 5 items each :) They even have figured out how to do the computer self check out by themselves.

She insisted on signing her own like Gracie did. She actually did pretty good considering they only give you a small strip

Why do all kids want to go up the slide?

I am so glad we are somewhat back to "normal" around here. I am not really sure what normal is but I know right now I am not giving out any medication and for us lately that's pretty good. Now I just need to put my house back together after our painting extravaganza.

It's been a really long time. I will be back very soon I promise. We have had illness all through the house and now we are in the middle of some home improvements. Come back soon!
